(200413) -- WUHAN, April 13, 2020 (Xinhua) -- Medical workers transfer a COVID-19 patient in severe and critical condition who is undergoing Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) ward at the Zhongfaxincheng campus of Tongji Hospital affiliated to Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, central China's Hubei Province, April 12, 2020. The wards on the 9th floor of Building C in the Zhongfaxincheng campus of Tongji Hospital affiliated to Huazhong University of Science and Technology, which was taken over by medical teams from Peking Union Medical College Hospital, was officially closed on Sunday after five COVID-19 patients in severe and critical condition were transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) wards of the hospital.
The ward operated for 69 days, during which 109 patients in severe and critical condition were admitted. At the peak of admission, more than 20 of the 32 patients treated here received invasive respiratory assistance. (Xinhua/Shen Bohan)

سجلت المستشفيات البريطانية 888 حالة وفاة جديدة بفيروس كورونا المستجد، لترتفع الحصيلة الإجمالية للوفيات إلى 15 ألفا و464 شخصا.
كما سجلت بريطانيا 5500 إصابة إضافية، حسبما ذكرت وزارة الصحة والرعاية الاجتماعية اليوم السبت.
ومن بين 357 ألفا و23 اختبارا تم إجراؤها للكشف عن الإصابة، تم تأكيد إصابة 114 ألفا و217 شخصا بالفيروس، حسب وكالة بلومبرج للأنباء اليوم السبت.
